This site (the site formerly known as thewushucentre.ca) is a little mixed.  I play traditional bagua, xingyi, and Chen taiji, but am an unrepentant classic wushu fan. The main 'sales thing' is my translations of bagua and xingyi books from China plus the best instructional and performance videos that I can find in China on bagua, xingyi, Chen taiji. To keep the retro wushu side of my character happy, I have brought Anthony Chan's classic Beijing Wushu Team Training Video Series back to life, and have found some great videos of classic wushu.

Since my formal education is in physical education, Chinese, and wushu, I have naturally put a lot of educational stuff on the site - an online wushu dictionary, downloads of my wushu dictionary and movement name lists, downloads of my wushu coaching materials, upcoming events in Canada, tons of photographs of athletes and masters in China (most now put into Flickr), links to Chinese martial arts sites around the world, and a list of available translated books on Chinese martial arts.

When I am away for training or teaching, I have my laptop with me and am working on translations. I may not be able to update the website when I am away, but we have a good system for sending orders out quickly, so don't worry if the website is not updated, I am still in contact.

Order online using credit card through secure CCNow online shopping cart service. The CCNow site can be charged in Canadian Dollars, Pound Sterling, Euro, Australian Dollar, Japanese Yen, and other currencies with Visa and MasterCards. All other cards are in US$.

Or, order online using secure PayPal service. You don't need a Paypal account to use PayPal. Shipping is impossible to calculate with PayPal, so  for international orders I usually need to ask for an extra shipping payment after I mail the package.

Mail orders also happily taken using cheques, bank drafts, Western Union, e-banking (in Canada) , or Euro cheques.

All videos are guaranteed to work, so of course I will fully refund or replace any returns for faulty discs, or, if your package does not arrive I'll send another.

The site is huge with the online dictionary, so I've moved most photos to Flickr. Don't worry, Zen lapin is still traveling and meeting people, but most photos are at Flickr. Please go and take a look at the photos and come back here.

I hope you have fun looking around the site. When I switched over to the new web authoring program for the new Mac. I had to change from the .ca to .net to change servers, to go with a server that specialized in Sandvox (it may be .net but it is still .ca at heart).

For anyone interested in web authoring programs, Sandvox is glacially slow, and a bit funny about publishing. The updated, non-beta, version is just as slow and even worse at publishing. It has some nice features that make writing the site easy, but on the whole it is really annoying to work with, going off to spin for ages at every little thing you do.
